The Asian New Year Festival is an annual showcase of student-run performances featuring rich and diverse Asian and Pacific-American cultural expressions. One of the most widely attended events at Vanderbilt, ANYF is a night not only exhibiting the university and AASA's commitment to enriching cultural diversity and awareness on campus, but a testament to our undergraduate community's creativity, talent, and dedication to an authentic expression of its cultural identities. The Year of the Horse is the traditional designation for 2014 throughout the sinosphere, so this year's show will exhibit thematic elements relating to medieval and classical portrayals of the horse as a reliable, long-standing partner and friend of mankind. We look forward to planning the best ANYF that Vanderbilt has ever seen to date, and hope for your continued cooperation and partnership in this amazing and venerable campus tradition.
