Health Justice Council (HJC) is a Vanderbilt medical student organization dedicated to mainstreaming action-oriented concern for injustice in health care and medicine. HJC aims to provide medical students with opportunities to develop the skills to tackle injustice in their future careers in settings as diverse as global health, policy, clinical practice, academics and research, or public health. HJC also provides a platform for students to exchange ideas about how to make justice a medical priority and to share best practices in social justice work.
