The VUSM Health Justice Council is seeking presentations on health and social justice for our third annual conference, to be held on April 17 & 19, 2014
This year’s theme is structural competency. Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words describing a clinical, legal, or public health case in which you have been personally involved that highlights the importance of social, economic, political, and environmental structures on health and human rights. This could be the story of a patient, legal case, research project, or public health program. Selected presenters will have ten minutes to present, with five minutes for questions. Audiovisual presentation aids are welcome but not required. If you have questions about your presentation idea please send them to email@example.com. All submissions are due by March 14, 2014 at 11:59pm. Please submit by sending abstracts to firstname.lastname@example.org

Eligibility: All students and faculty in Vanderbilt or Meharry schools of medicine, nursing, dentistry, business, law, and education, Belmont and Lipscomb schools of pharmacy, and local clinical social work programs are welcome to submit presentations.
