AED is the Vanderbilt premedical chapter of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). The goal of the society is to prepare its members for medical school, with the hope that they will become better doctors because of their experiences with Alpha Epsilon Delta. There are some things that one just can't learn in a classroom. AED is open to any Vanderbilt undergraduate student, but is obviously most beneficial to premedical, pre-dental, pre-nursing, and pre-vet students. The organization sponsors 5 meetings per semester, numerous volunteer opportunities, various information sessions, and much, much more. Click for more info about AED structure and dues
