Annie Ameha is a senior majoring in Sociology with a minor in Religious Studies. As a Memphian with a passion for good food, she loves trying out local Nashville restaurants. Outside of academics, she is involved with weekly tutoring through the Vanderbilt After School Program and OF COURSE Alpha Phi Omega! She has been a brother in APO since the spring semester of her first year. The past four years she has had the opportunity to meet great friends, develop leadership skills and have a ton of fun! Whether doing meaningful service that allows her to get to know her brothers or going on awesome trips, APO has been an unforgettable addition to her Vandy experience!
Campus Service Chair
Amita is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience and Anthropology. She enjoys watching TV and listening to music. She is also a board member of Vanderbilt Interest Projects (VIP) and a member of Vanderbilt Red Cross. APO has given her the opportunity to meet a lot of great people who, in addition to being friends and mentors, share her enthusiasm about service.
Community Service Chair
Megan is a sophomore in A&S who is double majoring in Psychology and Child Studies. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she joined APO with her lovely freshman roommate their first semester at Vandy and spent the past two semesters coercing the rest of her friends into the magical land of brotherhood and secret handshakes. She has two wonderful littles (and counting) and expects one of them to give her a grand-little at some point in the near future. Megan loves APO because it is full of generally awesome, friendly people, and she loves giving back to the Nashville community that has become her home away from home.
Kevin is a sophomore majoring in neuroscience. His interests include music, video games, and funny videos on YouTube. He is also involved with the Asian American Student Association (AASA) and Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science (VSVS). Through APO, Kevin has found many opportunities to give back to the community and hopes to continue with APO throughout his college career.
Julia is a sophomore majoring in Honors Psychology and minoring in Asian Studies. She enjoys listening to bad music, dancing terribly and loving Alpha Phi Omega! Besides APO, she divides her time between The Nashville/National Mobile Market, Rehabilitating Adoptable Dogs, Manna Project International and working at ACE Design. She loves getting new pledges every semester and is super excited to introduce each new pledge class to the amazing campus and community service projects APO has to offer!
Jennifer is a senior studying English, communication, and sociology. As a Chancellor’s Scholar, she is passionate about making a difference, whether it is through Dance Marathon, Alpha Phi Omega, or Green Dots. Aside from her campus involvement, she is also an enthusiastic supporter of mid afternoon naps, a cupcake connoisseur and gummy bear enthusiast. Upon graduation, she intends to work as a college admissions consultant at an education consulting firm.
Kevin Strong is a Senior double majoring in Computer and Science and History. In his free time he likes to go rock climbing, reminisce about his time as a gymnast and play video games (probably too much). He discovered APO quite by accident, a three of his friends were joining and he just happened to come along for the ride. Who knew he would be the only one to end up on Board! As the APO “Recording Secretary” he is responsible for taking minutes at board and chapter meetings and sending out the weekly digest. His plans after graduation are not set yet but hopefully involve making money.
