VBI is a student-led, university-wide initiative which recovers waste vegetable oil from our cafeterias and local restaurants to process into biodiesel to fuel various campus vehicles. Our goal is to be a model of economic and environmental sustainability and our mission is to share our experience to educate others, on and off campus, about the viability and potential of biodiesel.
