EcoSuds is a new environmentally friendly soap produced right here on Vanderbilt campus. Glycerin, a by-product of making biodiesel, is the main ingredient in our EcoSuds soap, which makes it very moisturizing (usually, companies remove glycerin from soap because it is more profitable in lotion as a moisturizer). This makes EcoSuds a great hand soap, but it also works well as a shower gel, dish soap, carwash, blood stain remover, or laundry soap. The only contents added to the glycerin are orange scent (directly from orange peels) and, in the newest green color, a green dye (essentially food coloring) - all soap kills bacteria, EcoSuds just does it without lots of chemical additives.

All profits go directly back to the Vanderbilt Biodiesel Initiative and student run environmental initiatives.

EcoSuds is now available in Nectar, Commons Grounds, and Branscomb Munchie-Mart. Climb Nashville is also selling EcoSuds.
