Belmont Nursing Home

Feed the Children
Project Leader: Lukas
Feed The Children is a Christian, international, nonprofit relief
organization that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other
necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these
essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster. We go to
their big warehouse and pack food packages in an assembly-line fashion.
It's competitive and fun!

Project Cure
Project Leader: Mark
Project
CURE is a national organization that collects, sorts,
and distributes medical supplies to needy countries around the world. Most
of their donations are supplies or equipment that would normally be thrown
away in the United States, but are much needed in other countries. When
we volunteer at Project CURE, we usually sort and package the incoming
medical supplies or load a truck with supplies for a specific country.

Ronald McDonald House
Project Leader: Rachel
One to two times a month we will head over to the
Ronald McDonald House of Nashville to prepare a meal for the residents and families staying there. Families of patients in the Children's Hospital can stay at
Ronald McDonald House while their child undergoes long-term treatment.
The families really appreciate our help and the delicious meal, and we
get to have fun in the kitchen!

program. We generally work with students from kindergarten to
second grade. Depending on how much homework the students have, we
either help with homework, read a book, color, or go on the

appreciate our help!

SGA Angel Tree
We also collect spare change at each meeting to support the
SGA Angel Tree. We use the total money raised each year to buy
Christmas gifts for underprivileged children. We collect change by passing around our piggy-bank, named "Moink".
