Presented by Shoney’s,® this family-friendly event will include a 5K run, kids’ fun run/walk, race ceremony, and kids’ badge celebration, and will culminate in a Fun Festival. The Fun Festival will feature a Kids’ Zone with FREE activities for the kids, including giant inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, random prize drawings, special displays from our very own men & women in blue to include a police helicopter, members of the Nashville Police S.W.A.T Team, Bomb Robot, Armored Vehicle, Police Cruiser, K9, Traffic will be conducting safety discussion on Child Occupant Safety, and Much More! This event will be staged outdoors in downtown Nashville, at Woodland Street and Interstate Drive, LP Field Lot A (adjacent to the Shoney’s Restaurant on Interstate Drive). Complimentary fruit and beverages will be available for run participants at the finish line and other refreshments from Shoney’s® will be available for purchase at a minimal charge throughout the festival. All run proceeds will benefit the Metro Nashville Police Department. Come for the run and stay for the fun, which lasts until noon.
