  • Apple Markets are small neighborhood grocery stores. They don't have a large selection but do carry basics. At least one location use to be an H. G. Hill.

  • This Middle Tennessee grocery chain has been around for over 100 years. It strives to meet the needs of their local neighborhoods. The chain is known for its "Pick 5 Meat Sale."

  • Harris Teeter has a good selection of specialty food items but is more expensive than other stores.

  • Most of the Nashville Publix locations are in the outer suburbs and none are very near campus. Their pharmacy offers a large number of $4 generic prescriptions, regardless of insurance.
