Greetings from Vanderbilt University,
We are Emily Morgenstern and Maggie Wilson, and we are the Secretaries-General for VUMUN 2009. This year's conference will build on the great success of VUMUN 2008. With even more delegates, skilled chairs, and carefully chosen topics, we hope to create a unique forum for debate. VUMUN 2009 will look to attract the brightest students from around the country who have a passion for debating a variety of global issues in a variety of committee settings.
Vanderbilt's campus is an exciting place to host a conference; right in the middle of a beautiful season at a bustling top-20 university. On behalf of our entire organization, we would like to welcome you and your delegation to VUMUN 2009. We have included some logistical changes at the bottom of this letter, and we invite your feedback and comments. We look forward to working with you in the upcoming months.
