Garrett LeDonne

Secretary-General

Garrett is a senior majoring in Economics and Mathematics in the College of Arts and Science. His love for international relations and politics has made him an active participant in Model UN since 2005.  Having served as USG-Administration on the VUMUN VIII Secretariat, Garrett is excited for the challenge of serving as Secretary-General of the nation's premier high school Model UN conference! In his free time, Garrett enjoys playing tennis, watching TV, drawing, and reading.  He especially loves the Millennium series, as well as the Hunger Games trilogy.  With the support of his incredible Secretariat, Garrett is looking forward to making this year's conference the best VUMUN yet

Julia Roseman

Director-General

Julia is a senior from Memphis, TN and is in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Economics and minoring in German and Premedicine. In addition to helping to plan this fall's VUMUN IX with the other fabulous Secretariat members, Julia is also the New Member Coordinator of her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, shadows at the Vanderbilt Medical Center, and will be participating in the Harvard National MUN and Virginia International Crisis Simulation conferences. In her free time, Julia enjoys cooking/baking, the outdoors, running, catching up on reads, and buying plane tickets often.

Sonia Ajmera

Under-Secretary General -- External Affairs

Sonia is a sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee (proudly one of the highest-ranked cities in the nation for crime). She is majoring in Neuroscience and wants to go to medical school. She has participated in Model UN since her freshman year of high school, during which she came to VUMUN, and she is thrilled to be contributing more in college. Sonia lived in Hong Kong for seven years, is studying Italian, loves Nerf gun wars, and wants to be a wildlife photographer and travel the world at some point in her life. Most importantly, she simply cannot wait for VUMUN IX! It'll be the best one yet!

Michael Palombo

Chargee d'Affairs

Michael is a sophomore in the Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. He is majoring in Human and Organizational Development with a track in International Leadership and Development. In addition, he enjoys studying Political Science and Spanish. Born in Minnesota, Michael is eager to branch out and explore the world. He actively participated in the Vanderbilt Model U.N club last year and looks forward to working for VUMUN IX.

Emily Chong

Under-Secretary General -- Administration

Emily is a sophomore at Vanderbilt, hoping to major in Political Science and Psychology, with a minor in Corporate Strategy. She is from Charleston, South Carolina. She is involved in Phi Sigma Pi, the Asian American Students Association, and of course, Model UN! After staffing the Korea Committee in last year's VUMUN, she is very excited for VUMUN IX!

Nicole Hill

Under-Secretary General -- Internal Affairs

Nicole is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Latin American Studies. Hailing from Brentwood, TN, she joined Model UN as a freshman to get more international flavor in her life. In VUMUN VII she staffed the Meiji Revolution Joint Crisis, and for VUMUN VIII she acted as co-chair for the International Criminal Court. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys eating froyo, listening to music, and confusing people with her twin sister. She hopes to study abroad in South America sometime in the near future. Nicole is extremely excited to be a part of the VUMUN IX Secretariat this year and looks forward to an extremely successful and fun conference!

Mallie Froehlich

Under-Secretary General -- Committees: General Assembly

Mallie Froehlich is a senior from Birmingham, Alabama, who is majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in English Literature and Sociology. She has been involved with Vanderbilt Model United Nations since the first semester of her freshman year in the fall of 2009. Since then, she has attended collegiate conferences such as HNMUN, UPMUNC, SCSY, and VICS. Mallie served as a staffer for the Security Council Reform Committee at VUMUN VI, a co-chair for the UNDP at VUMUN VII, and a chair for DISEC at VUMUN VIII. She is also involved with WRVU, Vanderbilt's Radio Station, and Alternative Spring Break. She is very excited to be a part of VUMUN IX's Secretariat as the USG of General Assemblies, and she is looking forward to seeing the hard work of VUMUN's chairs put into action via debate.

Colleen Boyle

Under-Secretary General -- Committees: Crisis

Colleen is a senior majoring in Political Science and Psychology in the College of Arts and Science. This is Colleen's fourth and final VUMUN and her third and final year on the Secretariat. She is proud to call Nashville her hometown. In addition to Model United Nations, Colleen enjoys running, being a Resident Advisor for first year students, and traveling. She spent part of her summer abroad in Vienna, Austria. Colleen is excited for what is sure to be the best VUMUN yet!

Drew Cornaghie

Under-Secretary General -- Technology

Drew is a senior from Memphis studying Human and Organizational Development and Psychology. VUMUN IX will be Drew's third VUMUN and his second year to serve as USG Technology on Secretariat. He is excited for an even more rewarding and enjoyable conference this year. In his spare time, Drew enjoys a mulitude of TV shows, particularly NBC's Thursday night lineup, working in the mental health field, tutoring in local high schools. He is looking forward to spending parts of his summer in Belfast and Washington DC, and of course an amazing VUMUN IX in the fall!
