The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) were developed in the year 2000 by
the United Nations Development Programme and were set to be achieved by 2015.
They cover a range of issues related to poverty and its consequences across the
globe. To learn more about the MDGs and the efforts to reach them visit (http://
www.undp.org/mdg/).

This year in Model United Nations we hope to serve the greater Nashville
community in ways that directly relate to these goals. Following you will find a list
of organizations that correspond, in one way or another, to the seven MDG's. The
link provided will lead you to the webpage detailing how to get involved with the
respective organization.
