Mission and Structure:
The Vanderbilt Student Investment Club (SIC) aims to serve as an educational experience for undergraduates who look to develop experience in investing and financial markets. By actively managing an equity-only portfolio, the SIC creates a forum for those interested in finance to gain investing knowledge in an educational atmosphere.
The SIC is divided into teams of six or seven people with a senior analyst leading all groups. All team members participate in equity research and vote to create and manage existing positions in the portfolio to foster an educational investing experience.
