Self description: Emma Steigerwald is a student of chemistry and biology in the College of Arts and Sciences. Her every intention is to get a DVM/PhD in Ecology; and work on behalf of endangered and threatened species as a wildlife veterinarian and conservation biologist. As secretary of SPEAR, she hopes to help expand the production of the Vanderbilt Biodiesel Initiative, reduce consumption of bottled water on campus, and help plant the green roofs with native and pollinator-friendly selections!
