Talk with Dr. Suen and Vegan Thanksgiving

November 11th, 2013 § Comments Off § permalink

Hey there, all you beautiful people!

Come join us tomorrow, November 12 at 7:30 in Buttrick 305. Alison Suen, a Vandy ethics professor will be talking to us about her research on the ethics of consumption and the linguistic divide between animals and humans.

We’ll also be eating some homemade vegan treats. (vegan fudge, anyone?)

One more thing- Sign up to bring food to our Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, November 20th at 6pm in Grins. We’ll provide the Tofurkey, but we’re counting on you to bring sides.

This is a good opportunity for those of you who bake! And if you don’t cook or don’t have a kitchen, feel free to bring some prepackaged goodies to share. That’s what T-Day is all about!

Thanks, y’all! Have a good Monday.
