Vandy Fanatics

Vandy Fanatics is the student organization dedicated to promoting school spirit by sponsoring events for the entire Vanderbilt community. Events are planned and programmed to encourage attendance at athletic events, support student athletes, and create and uphold traditions surrounding Vanderbilt athletics. In addition to updates on this site, we encourage you to visit the official Vanderbilt Spirit website. That tells you about a number of the events we support each year.

Our members are the most energetic and dedicated sports fans at Vanderbilt. Anyone in the VU community who bleeds black and gold is welcome to join. Fanatics' responsibility is to transfer our love and excitement for Vanderbilt Athletics to the entire student body. The past few years Vandy Fanatics have worked hard to establish our role on campus as the spirit organization. Now that we have our name out there, we hope to increase our publicity and draw larger, more diverse crowds to our events. The events that we plan are open to the entire campus community. Being a part of the Vanderbilt Programming Board allows us to increase our collaboration and co-sponsorship with a number of different groups on campus, including the Vanderbilt Student Government (VSG), Greek Life, and the Black Student Alliance (BSA).
