Vandy Vans

Vanderbilt students, we welcome to you check our your new Vandy Van GPS site! Over the past year, Vanderbilt Student Government has been working in partnerhip with VUPD and the Dean of Students Office to bring you this program to improve the safety and convenience of the Vandy Vans Service. You will now be able to see how full the Vans are at all times, view their location on your computer or mobile phone, and you can even set up text message alerts to let you know when a Van will be arriving to your stop. We hope you will enjoy this exciting new service!

The Vanderbilt Police Department administers the Vandy Vans shuttle bus program at Vanderbilt University. The Vandy Vans pick up and drop off at pre-designated points on campus. The service operates from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM during the fall and spring semesters. The vans follow three routes on campus.

MAIN ROUTE (Blue)

• Kissam Quad
• Crawford
• Highland Quad

REVERSE ROUTE (Red)

• Highland Quad
• Crawford
• North Hall
• Towers
• Branscomb

PERIMETER ROUTE (Green)

• Branscomb
• Towers
• Kissam Quad
• Terrace Place
• Wesley Place
• Crawford
• Blair
• Highland Quad

Beyond the Bubble Service (Thursday through Saturday, 6-11pm)

• Branscomb
• Bridgestone Arena
• Broadway Roundabout
• Across from Bridgestone Arena

Stops were chosen based on an accessible waiting area and student input.  Signs identify each stop.

A walking escort to and from the designated stops may be requested by dialing (615) 421-8888, or 1-8888 from a campus phone, after which, a representative from VUPD will be dispatched to the caller’s location, or to a designated meeting point to accompany the caller to his or her destination.
