The 2009 Vanderbilt Students for Students Scholarship will be worth $3,000 disbursed evenly over the award recipient’s post-secondary school career, given the student maintains a 2.5 cumulative grade point average while attending the post-secondary school. The award is decided by current Vanderbilt Students for Students members who have helped raise the funds for the award. Through the applications, members will see the backgrounds and hear the stories of students who often come from much different backgrounds. This is just one way we hope to instill a lifetime of philanthropy into our members. The scholarship winner is decided on the basis of outstanding achievements while individual circumstances are taken into consideration. VSS looks to fund students with great drive and a high potential to succeed. The award is due on Friday, April 3. Please see the application for more details.
